A J Patrick puts the spotlight on the proposed pension scheme for civil servants and finds it a big letdown. Cuepacs, he says must take a firm stand and should not compromise the pension rights of public sector employees. K George, for his part, appeals to the Prime Minister to restore local council elections, which would go a long way in promoting accountability and transparency.
