Israeli journalist Gideon Levy said Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich is “the face of Israel”, in response to comments Smotrich made during a conference at the Knesset, in which he said Israel “will occupy Gaza and make it an inseparable part of Israel”.
“To be proud of slaughtering 20,000 children?” he said, likening Smotrich to Nazis. “This is not human.”
