Malaysia, my land – my mother’s embrace,
Your rivers and skies etch the lines of my face.
Your soil sustains me, your air lifts me high,
Resilience you nurtured, beneath your wide sky.
Through trials of policy, through limits and tests,
Though doors were closed, you still shaped my quest.
And had I been given the paths many own,
Perhaps I’d have reached heights still unknown
Yet God is Great, His blessings abound,
In limits, I found a freedom unbound.
The national walls became bridges abroad,
Each setback is a step forward – blessings from God.
Grateful I stand – self-made, yet not alone,
For your love and your lessons are deeply my own.
The world became wider because You stood near,
Malaysia, my mother, I hold you dear.

Sixty-eight years, your banner waves high,
A beacon of hope beneath the tropical sky.
Malaysia, my home – your future I’ll build,
With gratitude burning, with purpose instilled.
Selamat Hari Merdeka. God bless Malaysia!
