Is Malaysia’s public healthcare system failing or evolving?

Follow us on our Malay and English WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube channels.

Vital Signs Asia dives into a topic that not many dare to touch: the true state of Malaysia”s public healthcare system. Is it getting better, or are we slowly watching it fall apart?

Joining it in the studio are two highly respected guests:

  • Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj, chairman of the socialist party PSM
  • Professor Amrahi Buang, president of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society

Together, we uncover:

  • What’s really happening in our hospitals and clinics?
  • Why healthcare workers are struggling?
  • The call to save our public healthcare system – what does it mean?
  • How Malaysia compares to healthcare systems around the world?
