Emulate early voters, Patriot appeals to voters

Patriot takes pride in the fact that well over 90% of early voters cast their ballots in the six state elections.

This exemplary response by uniformed security personnel is a benchmark of nationhood.

We hope civilians will take this record-breaking conduct as an inspiration.

Malaysians must exercise their power and responsibility by voting in the six state elections, namely in Kelantan, Terengganu, Selangor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan and Kedah.

Those who are propagating abstinence from voting or a boycott have failed to place the national interest above communal grouses and personal agendas.

The six state elections are pivotal for our country to forge ahead in an affirmative direction, with unity and patriotism as a beacon of hope.

Patriot urges all – young and old – voters to put aside their individual and communal differences and grouses and think of the big picture: our beloved nation needs your right-thinking vote of confidence to see through the next four years of progressive governance.

Let us put the national interest above personal, private, communal and power quests and fulfil our democratic right and duty to build our nation.

Vote wisely. Vote because you care.
