The revelation by Court of Appeal Judge Hamid Sultan Abu Backer regarding judicial impropriety is shocking. Patriot supports the call for a royal commission of inquiry to uncover the truth.

Even if it brings shame to our nation in general and the judiciary in particular, and however painful the process of uncovering the truth may be, we have to be brave and welcome a royal commission of inquiry.

Only then, after the truth is known, lessons learned, and remedial action taken can our nation and society be truly exorcised of the haunted past.

Patriot asks members of the judiciary who are untainted to be brave and all Malaysians to stand in unity to face this painful episode. Malaysia will emerge strong again.

Pakatan Haprak REFUSES to hail this judge, identify him as a whistleblower and provide proper protection of his person – WHAT MORE TO SAY ABOUT PAKATAN HAPRAK’S abuse of power and corruption announcements??

We need to keep pressure on the government to do the right things to restore the rule of law, restore judicial independence and integrity and restore our judiciary to its previous glory days when it was highly respected until we were saddled with dubious LP or CJ like Hamid Omar, Eusoffe Chin, Abdul Hamid, Fairuz and the like!!!
