[ENGLISH VERSION BELOW] Gabungan Pilihan Raya Bersih dan Adil (Bersih 2.0) merujuk kepada kenyataan media yang dikeluarkan oleh Istana Johor bahawa gabungan baharu telah mengambil alih kerajaan Johor dengan 28 ahli dewan negeri (Adun) menyatakan sokongan kepada gabungan baharu sementara 26 Adun memilih untuk bersama-sama Pakatan Harapan (PH).
Di dalam dewan yang mempunyai 56 Adun, ini bermaksud terdapat dua orang Adun yang masih belum menyatakan sokongan mereka. Adalah dilaporkan bahawa dua Adun tersebut adalah Salahuddin Ayub daripada Amanah-PH dan Mazlan Bujang daripada Bersatu.
Kemungkinan sidang Adun boleh tergantung dengan 28-28 sekiranya dua Adun tersebut kekal bersama PH dan pengumuman kerajaan negeri yang baharu di persimpangan ini adalah pra-matang.
Kami menggesa DYMM Sultan Johor untuk memperkenan Adun-Adun untuk memilih sendiri siapa yang akan membentuk kerajaan negeri di dalam sidang khas dewan undangan negeri, selari dengan bagaimana Dewan Rakyat akan memilih siapa perdana menteri seterusnya.
Selari dengan seruan kami sejak permulaan krisis politik ini, kami menggesa semua Adun PH yang meninggalkan PH untuk menyertai Barisan Nasional dan Pas dalam cubaan membentuk kerajaan baharu untuk meletakkan jawatan memandang mereka bertanding pada pilihan raya umum 2018 di atas tiket PH. Gagal berbuat demikian akan dianggap satu pengkhianatan kepada pengundi yang mengundi mereka sebagai calon PH pada pilihan raya umum lepas.

Has Pakatan Harapan really lost its majority in Johor?
The Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (Bersih 2.0) refers to the press release from the Johor Palace that a new coalition has taken over the Johor state government with 28 state assembly members stating their support for the new coalition while 26 others chose to remain with Pakatan Harapan (PH).
In the 56-member assembly, that means there are still two more assembly members who have not yet indicated their allegiance. It was reported that the two are Salahuddin Ayub from Amanah-PH and Mazlan Bujang from Bersatu.
There is a risk of a hung assembly of 28-28 should the two choose to remain with PH, and as such, the declaration of a new state government at this juncture may be pre-mature.
We urge His Majesty the Sultan of Johor to allow the state assembly members to choose for themselves, in a special state assembly session, who should form the state government, in keeping with how Parliament will choose the next prime minister.
In keeping with our call since the start of this political crisis, we call on all PH state assembly members who left PH to join Barisan Nasional and Pas in an attempt to form a new government to resign from their seats immediately as they contested the 2018 general election on a PH ticket. Not doing so would be a betrayal of voters who voted for them as PH candidates.

I don’t understand why the royalties intervening in matters of government administration. The state legislature has not convened to test whether the existing coalition can still function or otherwise. It is the legislation’s prerogative to do that and not the function of the sultan. What is more surprising the sultan has decided without even knowing the stand of
two of the assemblymen as though they don’t count for anything. They are the people’s representative and due respect must be given to them. We are not ruled by absolute monarchy. Anyway we should blame the courts for giving room for the royalties to interfere in administration of the country.
