Bersih-People's-Tribunal-2013

The Organising Committee of Bersih 2.0 People’s Tribunal wishes to invite members of public to the People’s Tribunal on Malaysia’s 13th General Election (GE13), which will begin its hearing on Wednesday, 18 September 2013 to Sunday, 22 September 2013.

As you may know, the People’s Tribunal on GE13 was mooted in response to the public outcry and concerns of electoral fraud and irregularities in GE13. Bersih 2.0 – the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections 2.0 which comprises 84 civil society organisations – will be organising the People’s Tribunal on GE13 to provide a platform for the People to investigate and scrutinise the conduct of the last general election.

Chairing the tribunal will be Yash Pal Ghai, a reputable expert in constitutional law, former Head of the Constitution Advisory Support Unit of the UN Development Programme in Nepal, former Special Representative of the UN Secretary General in Cambodia on human rights and former Chairperson of the Kenya Constitution Review Commission and Kenya National Constitutional Conference.

Other members include Ramlan Surbakti, former Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Election Commission; Kraisak Choonhavan, President of the Asean Inter-Parliamentary Myanmar Caucus (AIPMC); Datuk Azzat bin Kamaludin, an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya; Dr Mavis Puthucheary, former associate professor from the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya and Rev Dr Hermen Shastri, General Secretary of the Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM).

We salute Dato Ambiga for her great contribution to democracy, human rights and humanity. Her Clinton/Obama award will usher into many more international awards. Wake up Malaysia from corruption, plunder, deception, betrayal, thefts of elections and crime. I speak from New Zealand – rated the top for transparency and democracy.

The voters can do anything they like, the morons at Umno will no, I repeat will not change, can the leopards change their spots ? … They will, with help from EC again , especially so with gerrymandering even with 35% of Malaysian voters’ support these morons from Umno will still remain in Putrajaya. They will do anything to remain there, they know they have the police and the armed forces behind them to do that. Regardless of what the voters want….
