Penang Forum would like to invite you to a public forum entitled Penang Light Rail Transit: A Solution or Financial Distress?

We will be revealing new details about the “Penang Transport Master Plan” and the environmental impact assessment of the elevated light rail system.

The event is being organised by Penang Forum, a coalition of NGOs for local democracy and sustainable development.

About the speakers

Dato’ Dr Anwar Fazal is a leading international civil society leader, winner of the 1982 Right Livelihood Award (dubbed the “Alternative Nobel Prize”) and chairperson of Think City Sdn Bhd.

Dr Rosli Khan is a transport planner and managing director of a traffic consultancy; he has spent over 30 years in the transport industry, managing more than 100 consultancy projects.

Dr Lim Mah Hui is an economist, former economics professor, former international banker, and former city councillor with the Penang Island City Council and leading light of Penang Forum.

Cameron Kang is A city councillor with Seberang Perai City Council and Malaysian operations manager for an international public transit app and service provider.
