It’s time to act: Aliran launches clock like no other

Join us on Telegram and Instagram for the latest.

Aliran is pleased to announce the launch of the Time to Act clock.

This 9¾-inch aluminium wall clock is a clock like no other. As you can see, it has set time to principles and values, crucial for our nation. The clock serves as a reminder of the current state of the nation and the importance of practising such principles and values at all times throughout the day.

The clock is to inspire us: it’s time to act. Perhaps some of you might be encouraged to get these clocks for yourselves or even gift these clocks to some of our leaders. Given the current scenario, we encourage you to get these clocks in bulk!!

Designed specially for Aliran (you will not find this in any shop!), we invite you to be among the first to make a minimum donation of RM50 and pick up your souvenir clock.

The Time to Act clock has been designed as part of Aliran’s Fund-Raising Dinner which will be held in Kuala Lumpur at the Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) on Saturday, 23 July 2016.

Everyone is welcome to make donations and take up tables. We have wonderful food (Halal Chinese and Indian Vegetarian) and an amazing line up of extraordinary talent with Azmyl Yunor and Orkes Padu, the Aswara Dance Company, Pak Samad and Az Samad and the Aliran Singers.

Our special guest speaker for the evening is none other than Dato Ambiga Sreenivasan. It will be an interesting evening to say the least.

Please contact the Aliran office at 04-6585251 during office hours (Tuesdays to Saturdays) or [email protected] for more information on how to make donations for the Aliran Fund Raising Dinner tables and get your souvenir Time to Act clock.

Thanks for dropping by! The views expressed in Aliran's media statements and the NGO statements we have endorsed reflect Aliran's official stand. Views and opinions expressed in other pieces published here do not necessarily reflect Aliran's official position.

Our voluntary writers work hard to keep these articles free for all to read. But we do need funds to support our struggle for Justice, Freedom and Solidarity. To maintain our editorial independence, we do not carry any advertisements; nor do we accept funding from dubious sources. If everyone reading this was to make a donation, our fundraising target for the year would be achieved within a week. So please consider making a donation to Persatuan Aliran Kesedaran Negara, CIMB Bank account number 8004240948.
