Beware of propaganda and indoctrination on social media

Don’t be led like sheep to the slaughterhouse

Follow us on our Malay and English WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Tiktok and Youtube channels.

Some quarters in Malaysia have stupidly indulged in divisive racial and religious politicking, deforestation, sand mining, land reclamation and every other unthinkable abomination.

We have developed that proverbial capacity of shooting ourselves in our own foot repeatedly.

It is a vicious cycle that our political parties and the establishment have created.

We have religious or race-based parties and individuals having a whale of a party in their attempts to indoctrinate and brainwash us against each other. If they tell you that God is needed – watch out, danger! If they tell you that ethnicity needs protection – even more dangerous. If it is both, then double the danger!

It is shocking to witness how, over differences of opinions, we become disagreeable towards each other: rude insults, crude insinuations, uncouth innuendos, uncivilised name-calling, uncouth labelling with profanities are the order of the day.

People forget friendships and forsake families all for the egoistic upmanship of winning based on an artificial ideology, plastic philosophy or cosmetic creed that was never ours, or does not define who or what we are. Hook, line and sinker, we fall for such propaganda or narratives – the despicable weapons of mass deception and division waged against us.

Criminals are driving an artificial construct and edging the planet towards economic destruction and war.

While the US, Russia, China, India, Australia and much of Europe are trying to prove who is more righteous, people in many parts of the world are starving, the climate is changing for the worse, the polar ice caps are melting and the world economy is in tatters. Wars over water may break out in our lifetime or soon after.

So, are any of the criminals running the world worried about this, apart from paying lip service? Nations have spent much money and deployed plenty of resources on preparations for war and weaponry. But does anyone care about the average person?

One thing’s for sure, though. Once Planet Earth decides enough is enough, all these useless dingbats will end up fighting over a bit of dung.

It never ceases to amaze me how friends in social media and other groups that I am in will not hesitate to get at each other’s throats over narratives commissioned and generated by the insane criminals who run the planet now.

Take a step back and have a good look.

  • Which world ‘leader’ today is not steering the world into a war?
  • Which one of them is not totally corrupt or bereft of morals and ethics?
  • Which one is not aligned to industrial interests and lobbies?
  • Which one of them is not driving a racial or religious fascist agenda?
  • Which industry ‘captain’ is not exploiting the common people for obscene profits?
  • Which ‘leaders’ and ‘captains’ are not evading tax or lobbying to align the tax structure to benefit their insanely rich friends?

In any crisis or, God forbid, war, it is the common folk like us who suffer the most. The people who actually start it, start it for their own benefit and may even come out of it wealthier or more powerful than before. Sure, they may throw one or two of their kind under the bus as sacrificial lambs, but overall, it would be a case of “a great time was had by all” (in power).

So let’s not pay much attention to everything we see on social media, fake or real. It is mental conditioning – enslaving us, the herd of sheep, who will become the fodder for these insane criminals, whose most powerful propaganda tool is social media.

If we don’t watch out, by the time push comes to shove, we’ll all have taken sides and drawn the lines to support these nefarious leaders. We’ll then go meekly and obediently to the slaughter like good little sheep. Other sheep will carry out the slaughter, but they will themselves be slaughtered when their usefulness runs out.

So let’s support each other, especially the small, simple ordinary person on the street.

We do not need to be drugged over ideology, philosophy, politics or even religion that has been emptied of its spirituality. Nor should we allow ourselves to be dragged into disputes with each other.

Nations can squander their resources and squabble over frivolous matters or tribal trivialities. We should rise above these differences and stand up for our liberty and independence.

Ultimately, we need to stay true to our conscience. Any nation that treats even one person unjustly, wounds one person or kills one person – such actions should not be aligned or compatible with our values or beliefs.

The greatest treason, the deepest betrayal, is towards our personal conscience.
