
What standards (if there are any to go by) are we cultivating, wonders JD Lovrenciear.
We have not even got over “the world’s biggest heist”, which we originally thought was only a scandal.
We have not got over the loads of corruption charges piled on leaders of the previous government.
We have not even got over the numerous accounts of suspected corrupt conduct of those in authority within the civil service.
And now we hear of four politicians aligned with the new government whose educational background or qualifications have been called into question.

What is coming of this nation? What standards (if there are any to go by) are we cultivating? Please can somebody stand up tall, courageously and with integrity and call a spade a spade?
Or shall we just sweep under the carpet yet another expose just like what we have been doing over the past six decades?
We thought that our worries would have been over after the change of government in the 2018 general election. But no, we may be completely off the mark all over again.
Can someone please tell us ordinary Malaysians what on earth is going on in this country of ours.
Or shall we all bury our heads in the sand of ignorance and apathy and carry on with life?
