The G7, a grouping of the world’s top industrialised so-called democratic countries, has willy-nilly created in Gaza the first globally recognised geographical zone for genocide.
This genocide zone has been almost as effective as an outdoor gas chamber, with the agony for its victims prolonged.
Instead of relying on lethal gas in a relatively small compartment, the Israeli authorities have used other brutal methods and weapons over a more extensive geographical area against the peaceful, mostly poor and powerless Palestinian people.
The calculated ambiguity and implicit assent of the G7, led by a bankrupt but bellicose US, has allowed this genocide to go on without let or hindrance from October 2023.

Ironically, a few non-G7 leaders have also been complicit in this genocidal exercise.
It must be stopped immediately. Undeniably, the G7 has the power and authority to stop this.
The Israeli authorities have taken undue advantage of the G7’s complicity to create a nightmare – the slow but steady disappearance and death of a community indigenous to Palestine.
What is happening in Gaza is no longer a human rights issue but a human life issue.
The G7 and the global community must wake up to this reality.

The attack by Hamas last October didn’t come out of the blue. The build up to it was obvious. Not just the oppressive discrimination against Palestinians in the occupied territories but the destruction of infrastructure began months before the October attack on Israel. However, Israel used this as an excuse to intensify the destruction of Gaza and launch a war of attrition on all Palestinians that developed into a full blown genocidal war based on the already established system of apartheid. This clarified what Russia is doing in Ukraine and the ethnic cleansing of Rohingya in Rakhine, Myanmar. Can it be that a precedent has been set for genocidal war that the world can do nothing about as might is now right?
