In recent weeks, former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has irked many people.
He must cease his expired prescriptions to heal the nation.
His onetime cabinet member Nazri Aziz, now the ambassador to the US, is one of several outspoken critics who have advised Anwar Ibrahim’s government to take action against Mahathir for his dangerous antics and premeditated ploys.
Indeed, Mahathir is proving to be increasingly provocative and appears to want the people to walk a thin line by sowing ethnic discord in what appears to be an attempt to topple a legitimate government.
At a time when the country has to grapple with economic uncertainties and an increasingly tense geopolitical climate, especially in Southeast Asia, the last thing that any right-minded person wants is political instability.

Mahathir could have chosen to be an exemplary retired senior statesman but instead he gripes about the ethnic Malays losing power and that the non-Muslims are lording over the Muslims. This is a lethal concoction that can only explode eventually.
It is crystal clear that this doctor has not only become irrelevant but continues to believe he is the same man who came to power decades ago.
Perhaps we may excuse this two-time PM if he sounds delusional or appears trapped in a time warp.
But no one can be excused if an entire nation continues to be held ransom by suspicion, hatred and discord which he has sowed into this multi-racial, multi-religious and multicultural society – a society that is still struggling to repair the damage from an endemic culture of corruption.
So, Mahathir, please salvage whatever little dignity you have and save yourself from being labelled by the masses as the ‘most evil person’ we know.
Do Malaysia and the people a favour in your twilight days – enhance national unity, reinforce the goodwill between the ethnic groups and stop punching holes in the armour of Malay dignity.

This psycho is the same evil man.
It is so obvious with all said to undermine the current govt. is so that his family will not be charged for corruption. Tun once spoke highly of DSAI now his family is in a fix he tries his level best to incite hatred and ma;lice by playing the racial cards. Tun has denied any wrong doings and blame DSAI for malicious intend. Even SPRM have said there are more than 200 files … [on]… Tun and his family.
SPRM should not wait and charge Tun and prevent him for spreading racial and religious disunity which is very harmful for the nation.
Racial and religious agenda have destroyed nations in the past and some nations are suffering now because of their past leaders.
MALAYSIA IS MULTI RELIGIOUS AND RACIAL. fULL STOP
As Shakespeare aptly put it, “the evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones.” Tun Mahathir is destroying his own legacy with his current shenanigans. Though many may not remember it, there were many things he did for the nation when he was PM4… and it’s not just for the Malays. We are in the cyber age because of his initiatives. To me, that was his greatest gift to us.
Sadly, he is using it to stir racial tension in a nation already torn by political ideologies. Ironically, he is being ridiculed & lambasted by the same medium. Will he still be remembered after he’s gone? And why does he hate Anwar Ibrahim so much?
He is now the greatest threat to national unity, thereby serving the interests PN.
PLease retire this old man forever. He had served his time to destroy our country with his racial and corrupt policies.
Please retire him for good. We don’t need him anymore… He had done enough for our beloved country, not his alone.
