Politicians must stop the endless horse trading

Many people are fed up with the relentless political wheeling and dealing, JD Lovrenciear writes.

The political landscape is getting clouded with unending horse trading.

The focus of both sides of the political divide – governing and opposition blocs – appears to be on party allegiance, party alliances and even plots to create more new parties.

Please stop fragmenting the people with your unending chess moves to gain power.

We have enough political parties in this country. In fact, it is a case of having more than enough parties, given our relatively small population of over 30 million.

What we need is the commitment to galvanise the strengths of political leaders to tackle the nation’s needs.

Far too much time, energy and resources are wasted with all the political plotting that is taking place openly and behind thick curtains of secrecy.

At some point, we have to tell every politician that the people are not only exasperated but are at their wits’ end over the relentless political wheeling and dealing.

If there is anyone who is qualified to talk about nationhood, it certainly cannot be our politicians, as things stand. In fact, it is the people who appear more worried about the nation’s socioeconomic wellbeing than our politicians.

Are not all political condidates considered to to have good values including
INTEGRITY-ETHICS-MORALITY-LOYALTY-HONESTY-others prior to elections?

Could it be that some, AFTER BEING ELECTED AND BECOMING YBs may lose these INTEGRITY-ETHICS-MORALITY-HONESTY-LOYALTY-others valuses and be OVERTAKEN BY PERSONAL GREED FOR WEALTH AND CONDTINUED POWER and these VALUES MAY BE OBSTRUCTIVE IN ACHIEVING PERSONAL AMBITIONS?

Can cases of FROGGING and some being ALLEGED to being suspected and investigated of CORRUPTION-ABUSE OF POWER-NEPOTISM-CRONYISM indicate of them having lost their values for personal intersets?

RELIGIOUS VALUES MAY HAVE LITTLE VALUE AND MAN MADE LAWS CAN BE TAKEN CSRE OF. MAY ALMIGHT SAVE ORDINARY RAKYAT.
Be Safe Bles
