The vice-chancellors of the four universities must explain the source of funds used in organising the Malay Dignity Congress, writes MDC Observer.

Were public funds allocated for the development of four universities and their students expended on the Malay Dignity Congress, whose very purpose is, at best, debatable?

If indeed public funds were involved, were the four universities so overfunded that they could afford this – and even so, how could they justify such an outlay? The principle is this: funds allocated for Project A cannot be transferred to Project B unless exigencies exist to justify the transfer.

If public funds were not involved, who were the sponsors?

I am waiting to see the auditor general’s report on this event.

Meanwhile, the vice-chancellors, if they are true to themselves and to the nation to whom they owe a legal duty, must explain the source of funding for this event.

Public funding for many organizations that promote a single race or religion’s agenda needs to be eliminated. This a complex web that runs deep in our society

If this is a breach of trust then the VC & Heads of the 4 Universities should be charged by MACC and expelled immediately. (Any alleged) unethical act is basically teaching our future graduates on how to manipulate the system & to be a corrupted racist work force.

PLACE THEM UNDER THE PARLIAMENT INSTEAD OF the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO)

The Judiciary (Jabatan Peguam Negara), LHDN, Khazanah, M’sian Airlines, the Police, Petronas, MACC, the MoF, SPRM, MCMC, SSM & a host of other important agencies should ALL be placed directly under the Parliament instead of under the PMO to prevent the very openly, rampant & blatant ABUSES OF POWER!
