Days roll in and
darkness tugs
at apron strings
of tomorrow

Clear vision at dawn
ruffled by sighs and
despair of
unimaginable
happenings

High-pitch voices
reverberate against
screeching
movements through
imploding corridors
of no return

Brave uniforms
peeking urgently
through opaque
covers of
steamy breath and
restraining tears
Appealing for helpers
and pleading for
miracles
The bastion of
battered promises
and bungled
priorities

We mourn over the
passing of loved
ones
We salute resilient
beings blossoming at
every break of dawn

So don’t you cry my
love
Wipe away your
tears my dear
Sleep easy my
cherished ones
for your legacy
caresses all hearts
and every tomorrow

So we move on … with
steadfast steps
and rejuvenated
spirits
Nursing the passing
chimes of time with
positive inspiration
imbuing forceful
direction

Surely,
For today, our
glorious sun sparks
rainbow hues
amongst swaying
lanterns of
morning dews

And we strive with
blessings from
extended hands
to celebrate the
renewing cycles
of life
Bedazzled by the
signs of beauty and
majesty enveloping
every fiber of
conscious humanity

And witnessing the
fleeting moment of
subtle image of
Eternity gracing
our way
