Justice George Seah defends his role in Malaysia’s 1988 judicial crisis, when five Supreme Court judges were suspended following complaints by acting Lord President Hamid Omar.

Seah argues the prime minister lacked constitutional power to suspend multiple judges simultaneously, effectively suspending the entire Supreme Court.
