Polling Agents/Counting Agents/Barung Agents (Pacabas or election scrutinisers) are appointed to ensure that the final stage of the elections – voting and counting – is properly conducted in accordance with the election laws.

We believe you are among those Malaysians who want to and are able to contribute to clean and fair elections and eventually, a better, more democratic Malaysia. We therefore urge you to take up the challenge to serve as a Pacaba to help the country in her hour of need.

In 2008, Seri Andalas (N49) had about 37000 registered voters; as of February 2013, we have 56806 voters, making it the biggest state seat in Malaysia. This means that we now have 118 voting streams/rooms.

1 voting stream (1 ballot box/peti undi)

= 1 counting agent (CA) [Duty time 7.00am-10.00am and 4.00pm–10.00pm]

= 2 polling agents (PAs) [Duty time 10.00am-1.00pm OR 1.00pm-4.00pm

(Total 3 PACAs for every voting stream)

We need a total of 354 PACAs! (Nationwide, Pakatan Rakyat needs about 180000 PACAs.)

We need more, many more! You can make a big difference. By contributing probably the most impactful 12 hours in your life on election day, you, as a Pacaba, can help save thousands of votes from fraud and help determine the next government of Malaysia. (Phone 03-51610400 or 017-6372502 if you would like to help out.)

Let us work together to build a Better Malaysia!

Why wasting time ranting in blogs or Facebook? Put your effort into real action be an agent; 007, spy on your enemies and do some ghost blasting to chase away any potential phantom voter.
