The Penang state government has said they may request government funding for two components of the “PTMP”.

Since then, Anwar Ibrahim has indicated the Penang Island southern reclamation project may have to be scaled down, reclaiming only one or two islands rather than three.

To discuss this and more on the PTMP, BFM speaks with Khoo Salma Nasution, steering committee member of Penang Forum, a coalition of civil society groups currently pressuring the government to review the project.
