Dewan Negara President Rais Yatim recently proposed a political academy to be created to provide official training to elected representatives.

BFM hears from Muar MP and Muda co-founder Syed Saddiq on his experience with learning on the job. It then speaks with political scientist Prof Wong Chin Huat about whether an academy would help MPs develop better policymaking skills for more effective governance.
