Firdaus Husni, the chief human rights strategist at the Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights (MCCHR) joins BFM to discuss issues that dominated the news in April 2021, including Undi18 taking legal action against the government, a suit filed by the Malaysian Bar, the Tamat Darurat Committee appealing to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to end the state of emergency before 1 August, and finally, the recent arrest of activists and how this relates to freedom of expression in Malaysia.
