The BBC’s Zeinab Badawi poses some tough questions to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad about his decision to come out of retirement and work with Anwar Ibrahim, oppressive laws, affirmative action and the brain drain, and corruption during his previous tenure.

He was also asked about the new government’s decision to cancel several large deals with China, allegations of anti-Semitism levelled against him and whether he would hand over power to Anwar after two years.

Ayyoooh. Why Lah Dr. M? Don’t we have enough to deal with in Malaysia? Is it is really necessary to defend calling Jews “hooked-nosed” and scold Ang Sang Su Ki? We selected you to take care of business in Malaysia, not get entangled in international messes. Don’t get distracted again, please. There is much to be done here.
