A group of activists who were sailing with the Global Sumud Flotilla have arrived in the UK from Istanbul after being detained by Israeli forces.
“I saw quite a lot of injuries to the head, to the ribs, to the legs, to the genital areas as well… it was obvious that the Israeli occupation force was trained to target areas that would inflict the most pain,” said activist Kareem Awad.
“They were playing Israeli music to hide the screams and the screams for help and doctors and water,” added Elliot Roberts.
