Thank you for your invitation to comment on this subject but before I proceed to make my comments allow me to say that I’ve been an avid fan of your writings and follow your writings with enthusiasm. I must say I find it very invigorating and interesting to follow your writings. Very few Malays can write so succinctly as you do in your writings be it in Sin Chew or in other platform.
Now on the matter under discussion First off, I’d like to say that it’s nothing but some politicians making a mountain out of a mole hill to say the least. And as you have said it’s nothing but political opportunism and the dangers if this was allowed to fester. But then, Prof, that’s the trouble with mob mentality the protesters even went to the wrong shop!
