The wave of change that came with the outcome of the 2018 general election brought with it a whole host of expectations that there would be reforms: political, institutional, the works.

And when that didn’t come, the mood started to shift.

This raises the question, do we expect too much from the electoral process? What is the true pace of reforms?

BFM explores these questions with Meredith Weiss, a political science professor at the State University of New York.
