The state government finding a easy way out by asking federal government to declare emergency. This is a lazy mans work. Instead of having discussions with all relevant parties to hold a safe election as was done in other countries including Singapore the Sabah state government findings a easy way out. Declaring emergency to avoid election can set a dangerous precedent. It’s like Muhyiddin want to declare emergency to avoid presenting the budget in parliament.

The fact that national elections have taken place in Singapore and New Zealand showed the lie that is the Batu Sapi emergency.
As Prof. Wong commented, the backdoor PM wants to use it as a justification for his ‘application’ to have a national state of emergency.
But since it is necessary in Batu Sapi, why not Bugaya and Gerik?
