Equal constituency development funds: Legislation not MoU

The ruling Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional government has offered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with seven conditions to opposition MPs regarding constituency allocations.

The MPs are set to go into negotiations soon.

Danesh Prakash Chacko, Tindak Malaysia’s director, shares his views on the latest development and whether these funds meant for the people are being weaponised to keep the government in power.
