Political commentator Bridget Welsh, honorary research associate from the University of Nottingham’s Asia Research Institute, recently said something to the effect that “what’s unfortunate about our political landscape right now is that we’ve moved from reform politics to personality politics”.

She joins BFM to discuss how our political landscape morphed from reform-based to personality-obsessed and the pros and cons of that.

I am sorry, I am very bitter – what reform politics are you talking of?
Yes, many of us were duped by that evil ex-dictator.
If anything I put the blame squarely at the foot of Mahathir – may he rot in hell for eternity.
