A powerful protest song about the death of George Floyd performed by 12-year-old gospel singer Keedron Bryant and written by his mom, Johnetta, has drawn millions of views.
“When I heard Mr Floyd call out for his mom, as a black mother, that really hit me in a deep way,” Johnetta tells TODAY. “I went into prayer … and God gave these words to me.”
Keedron says, “I felt sad that I have to sing that,” and sings a portion of “I Just Want to Live” live from their home.

Thank you Aliran. Time and again you post news and happenings that help construct a meaning into this lost world. In the wake of the shock gripping all of America you have now reminded our our own land of multi racial multi religious Malaysian leaders & their blinded followers of the fragility of race rage and religious bigotry. Thank you. Amen.
