Women accusing Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking gathered at a news conference at Capitol Hill, calling on lawmakers to back the release of all of the files in the Justice Department’s years-long Epstein investigation.
Among the speakers were one of Epstein’s victims, Marina Lacerda, 37, who told reporters that it was her first time speaking publicly about what happened to her when she was a teenager in New York City and Sky Roberts, the brother of Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein accuser who died by suicide last year.
