The Malaysian government has detained more than 700 migrants and refugees. It says it is part of the effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
But it comes after weeks of increased social media attacks on foreigners. Some posts have accused them of spreading the virus. Others blame them for being a drain on the country’s resources. Al Jazeera’s Florence Looi reports from Kuala Lumpur.

This has been going on for more then 30 years. Round up, Catch, broadcast on TV3….send back and next moment they are back again. There is a very serious major leakage in our front-line enforcement. Corruption is the main factor plus very poor system on management process of foreign workers intake by Ali Baba agents.
How is that countries like Singapore & Brunei can manage????? Basically its their Good governance & Enforcement.
