I respect him, Dr Toh Kin Woon, at his age and vast experience still believes civil society can do something about the messy politics.
The deposed PH administration let civil society down very badly – I am of the opinion now that civil society are like the barking dogs – yes, we speak even as we know it is futile but also with the knowledge the powers-that-be don’t give a hoot.
What is the point of it all?
