The Kuala Lumpur High Court recently ruled that Malaysian mothers have equal rights as Malaysian fathers to confer citizenship to their overseas-born children. To celebrate this momentous decision, BFM speaks with Melinda Anne Sharlini, programme manager at Family Frontiers, to look at why it is significant.
