The organisers and participants of last weekend’s Parlimen Digital have been praised not just for their well-researched speeches and confident delivery, but also for proving that holding a parliamentary sitting online can be done. Astro Awani’s Melisa Idris and Sharaad Kuttan speak to Qyira Yusri, co-founder of Undi 18 and one of the organisers of Parlimen Digital.
They also speak to Ayman Hazwani, one of two people who played the role of speaker of the Parlimen Digital online assembly, about what she learned about the role of Speaker of the House and what she thinks young people are ready for.
