The rebranded Ministry of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change will be at the forefront of addressing Malaysia’s environmental issues.
The ministry combines natural resources, pollution control, climate change and the water sector all under one roof. Described as a move towards more holistic environmental governance, the ministry will be led by Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
BFM talks to Celine Lim from Sarawak’s Save Rivers about what she feels the new ministry must focus on, when it comes to our natural environment in Sarawak.
