Malaysia is at a critical juncture in its development.

The Covid pandemic has brought into relief many failings, not all of which are related to health. There is a systems crisis that has left many economic issues such as poverty still unanswered.

Now is perhaps the right time to think through the way forward, examining all solutions. In this webinar, organised by Gerak-Espact, the panel examines the different systems that could work better for the country to take it forward.

Panel members:

  • Dr Jeyakumar Devaraj
  • Dr Ariffin SM Omar
  • Karen Lai
  • Moderator: Dr Por Heong Hong

All the panel members have the best interests of the nation at heart.
If one just look at the restrictions enforced by the authorities in the run-up to CNY and now, one will understand why the covid19 numbers are increasing.
Yet, they are with false pride that they have licked covid 19…not by a long shot, our borders are still closed. Why? This, at least, theauthorities have it correct-we cant manage if the borders are opened
So, panel members – it’s a good academic exercise, but will the PN care a hoot? No..
