Sabah heads to the polls for its legislative assembly election, with polling day set for 29 November.

Major players like Gabungan Rakyat Sabah, Warisan, Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional are jostling for dominance, but no single coalition is expected to win an outright majority.

So who might build the next government in Sabah? Astro Awani’s Melisa Idris speaks with Ariff Adi Putera Anwar, a research associate at the think tank Institute for Development Studies Sabah, based in Kota Kinabalu.
