Ione Belarra, the leader of Spain’s Podemos party, criticised Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Wednesday for failing to implement an effective arms embargo against Israel, saying: “We are being complicit as a country in this genocide.”
Belarra also condemned the Israeli attack on Monday targeting tents housing displaced people at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and asked: “What’s the difference between this and the Nazis’ gas chambers?”
