
Early voting was held on 8 August for the state elections in six states, involving mainly those serving in the armed forces and the police.
The remaining few days of campaigning ahead of the 12 August polling day for other voters will see intensified efforts to entice voters to the ballot box – with ceramahs and TikTok platforms thrown in the mix.
