Together with The Malaysian Bar, the University of Malaya’s Faculty of Law and the Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights (MCCHR), BFM recaps important court decisions in 2021.
The programme discusses cases involving gender issues in relation to citizenship, media freedom, protection of human rights defenders and freedom of religion, while also reflecting on the state of human rights in Malaysia.
Joining BFM for this discussion are emeritus professor Shad Saleem Faruqi, Firdaus Husni from the Malaysian Centre for Constitutionalism and Human Rights, and lawyer Kee Hui Yee.
