Former Prime Minister Najib Razak allegedly received a total of $1.2bn (RM5.4bn) from an Arab donor in two separate transactions in 2011 and 2013, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard yesterday.
Ambank capital market head Yap Wai Keat was verifying two transactions of $800m and $375m that was deposited into the now convicted Najib’s account.

Najib is making all of us stupid. His “Arab Donor” fairy tale expects us to believe? He also said he was conned by Jho Low yet he never made any police report against him, never rejected any funds that went into his personal account. The best was he fired those who questioned 1MDB!
Ah yes! The fabled Arab donation! Does Najbs n his half baked lawyers think M’sians are that dumb? The man’s downfall is his insatiable greed! Does one hear of billionaires like Gates or Musk spending their hard-earned money frivolously! To a thief it’s always easy come easy go simply bcos u Najis did not earn the money.
