Former 1MDB CEO Mohd Hazem Abdul Rahman was passive and took little action to address serious issues at the company’s board meetings, the court heard on 20 May.

Ex-Prime Minister Najib Razak’s defence lawyers questioned Hazem and suggested that the person who siphoned 1MDB’s money was businessman Low Taek Jho.
