On 11 November, the former 1MDB chief finance officer testified he had never allowed 1MDB funds to be invested in Tanore Finance Corporation, which allegedly went into Najib Razak’s personal bank account.
Azmi Tahir, the 12th prosecution witness, said fugitive businessman Low Taek Jho and his proxies handled them without accounting for the details.
He also told the Kuala Lumpur High Court that every instruction by Jho Low to the 1MDB senior management was Najib’s mandate.
Low, under the blessings of Najib, would give instructions to the 1MDB team in a work-in-silo system.
