1MDB’s US$2.2bn murabaha notes were converted to US$2.3bn in promissory notes but details were never sent to the company board, the prosecution’s 13th witness told the court on 4 April 2022.
Ismee Ismail, who is a former 1MDB director, also agreed with defence lawyers that the conversions were done without Najib Razak’s approval.
