One year ago, Najib Razak faced the prospect of winning or losing his seat as Prime Minister. He lost, and on 9 May 2019, found himself sitting in the dock for the 16th day as his SRC International trial continues. Patrick Teoh reports for the Malaysian Insight.
Najib was also accused of another misdeed in court today – taking a selfie while proceedings were on-going, which is a big no-no. He denied it and said that he had only turned on the front camera of his phone to check his face.
