On 24 August, Najib’s lawyer brought out a mysterious thank you note from the recipient. It was addressed to the former PM and his wife Rosmah Mansor. But the witness, who had investigated the SRC case, had never seen nor heard of the note. Not even when he took Rosmah’s statement.
