The story of Anna Jenkins

We are sometimes asked “Why do you focus on Annapuranee (Anna) Jenkins?”

Here, we introduce you to the 65-year-old Australian grandmother who was reported missing in Penang by her husband in December 2017. The remains of this “sweet soul” were found in Berjaya’s Kensington Gardens development site in Penang 30 months later.

Here, we explain briefly what has emerged from sworn testimony given by witnesses – including police officers – during the inquest into her death, which is ongoing before a Sessions Court Judge in Penang.

We also explain the connection with the cases of Amri Che Mat, Pastor Raymond Koh and Pastors Joshua Hilmy and Ruth Sitepu. We end by explaining why we consider her case vitally important for Malaysia.
