Judge for yourself Speaker Azhar Harun’s response when MPs question him in Parliament on how Keningau MP Jeffrey Kitingan obtained an apparently early release from quarantine upon his arrival in the peninsula ahead of the high-stakes Budget vote in Parliament.
Kitingan is from the Star party, which is part of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah, aligned to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin at the federal level.
The Budget vote is expected to be a close call.

I am full of contempt for that man – so I refuse to hear him out, for it will only be a justification for why a pengkhianat nasional politician is exempt from the law.
But I take Jefferey’s exemption to be a good indicator as to how close the Budget 2021 vote will be on the 26th Nov.
If Budget 2021 is rakyat – centric, no need to put information dept vans on the road to broadcast propaganda – it’s all talk , with no facts and figures.
Just let the MOF issue a statement rebutting point by point the criticisms against Budget 2021.
Will he dare do or the backdoor PM dare to?
