Thank you, Bridget for this view of the Budget vote.
I heard Wong Chen’s explanation as well but I think Bridget’s view that it shows Anwar does not have the numbers to be more likely.
Anyway, who are we , mere ordinary rakyat to question the strategy of the politicians.
No, it is not that I love my country any less and wish it to be pushed into turmoil with the defeat of Budget 2021 but its many weaknesses as revealed by various politicians does not appear to have been addressed.
Except as Bridget pointed out to appease the UMNO politicians so that they no longer act like opposition MPs.
Anyway Dec. 17th beckons and let’s see in its run-up whether the backdoor PM will adopt further amendments to make it more rakyat-centric!!
